Our retail strategy
Our retail strategy remains focused on our core strength of owning and managing a diverse and high-performing portfolio of retail assets, underpinned by a scalable platform that has a proven track record of driving investment performance and delivering above benchmark results to investors.
The Dexus platform has significant investment in retail as both the manager and third-party owner of shopping centres including city retail, sub-regional, regional and major super-regionals. This is supported by our experience in asset and investment management, property management, development and leasing.
Dexus is strategically positioned to execute asset repositioning and mixed-use placemaking across our portfolio. Our clear development capability across mixed-use precincts positions us to outperform given our deep pools of talent and understanding across every property class. Our teams work collaboratively across the platform to deliver excellent mixed-use outcomes.
Dexus has an experienced retail, leasing, asset management, strategy, development and investment management team responsible for more than $9 billion of retail funds under management and meaningful relationships with over 5,000 retail customers. As long-term owners, Dexus has significant experience in the management of retail assets and drives performance that consistently delivers value and ongoing sustainable returns for investors and customers.
