Case study

A new healthcare workspace benchmark: North Shore Health Hub (NSHH)

Completed in March 2021, this 15,900sqm state-of-the-art, award-winning facility in the heart of the Royal North Shore Hospital precinct, St Leonards sets a new benchmark in healthcare workspace and precinct creation.

 

Initially an existing industrial asset, Dexus identified the opportunity to transform the asset into healthcare to enhance the precinct’s health offering and capitalise on demand in the private sector, creating a new model for mixed-use health precincts.

 

Leveraging our multi-sector and precinct creation experience, NSHH was designed with a high level of amenity and services, more typically found in premium CBD office developments. Located directly adjacent to the North Shore Private Hospital and Royal North Shore Public Hospital, the 100% occupied building provides customers with access to hotel-style end-of-trip facilities and a dedicated concierge. In addition, accepted tenants have access to a clinical link bridge connecting NSHH to the Ramsay North Shore Private Hospital, a key drawcard for Ramsay, a key anchor customer.

 

Intelligent design, market-leading sustainability, wellbeing and innovative technologies combine to offer a productive and healthy environment which has achieved a 6 Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.2 Rating, in line with DHPF’s Clean Energy Policy.
