Partnering for healthy hearts and minds
- 30 June 2025
At Dexus, our assets are more than just physical spaces - they are places where people come together, offering opportunities to create local connections for healthy hearts and minds. We have partnered nationally with leading mental health organisations – Black Dog Institute and headspace to amplify the positive impact our assets can have on mental and physical health.
Together we are delivering programs, services and experiences that bring people together and support better mental health outcomes across our communities.
This year, our partnership with Black Dog Institute included hosting the Art for Mental Health exhibition in the lobby of One Farrer Place, Sydney and at our Royal Randwick shopping centre. The exhibition featured life-sized body map artworks that visually express personal stories and lived experiences. These powerful pieces promote social inclusion and connection through shared understanding. Each exhibition was accompanied by workshops, giving participants the opportunity to explore and express their own wellbeing through art.
We also hosted the ‘Tremors’ art exhibition at Wentworth Galleries in Sydney, showcasing the work of Michael J Quill, an artist who openly shares how his mental health journey has shaped his creative expression. This collaboration between the artist, Wentworth Galleries, Dexus and Black Dog Institute directed a portion of proceeds to support mental health initiatives.
We launched our partnership with headspace through our involvement in The Push-Up Challenge, engaging Dexus’s employees, customers and communities to raise awareness and funds for youth the mental health. The Challenge promotes both physical and mental wellbeing, aligning with our broader social value objectives.
These partnerships, combined with the unique reach of our assets, enable us to enhance the communities in which we operate by supporting better mental health outcomes.
We look forward to continue to work with Black Dog Institute and headspace to deliver meaningful, impactful activations across our national portfolio of assets.
