Dexus Asset Management Limited (DXAM) makes this announcement as responsible entity of the Dexus Property for Income Fund No. 2 ARSN 090 467 208 (Fund).

Termination of the Fund

DXAM advises that the Fund was terminated today, on 17 June 2024, in accordance with the requirements in the Fund’s constitution and the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

As part of the winding up process the assets of the Fund will be realised and final distributions will be paid to investors on or around 24 June 2024. For investors participating in the migration option to the Dexus AREIT Fund ARSN 134 361 229 (Dexus AREIT Fund), final distributions will be used to apply for units in the Dexus AREIT Fund on or around 24 June 2024.

These dates are subject to change by DXAM in its absolute discretion, subject to all applicable laws and the Constitution.

The primary investment objectives of this Fund are to aim to provide:

  • a high level of distributable income by achieving a gross annual income yield (before management fees and expenses) that equates to at least 110% of the average yield of the S&P/ASX 200 AREIT Index Dividend Yield

  • a level of capital growth which at least matches increases in the Consumer Price Index over a 5 - 7 year time horizon

  • lower-than-market volatility compared with the S&P/ASX 200 AREIT Index over a 5 - 7 year time horizon
