AMP Capital transaction

AMP Capital's real estate and domestic infrastructure equity business has been acquired by Dexus.

Dexus has acquired AMP Capital’s real estate and domestic infrastructure equity business (AMP Capital). The combined business creates a leading real assets investment manager in Australia with more than $60 billion of funds under management (pro forma post final completion of the AMP Capital acquisition).

The integration of the AMP Capital business onto the Dexus platform provides investors with an expansive product offering and capabilities in real estate and infrastructure – providing a complete offering for investors.

The AMP Capital transaction reflects a two-stage completion process, with some AMP Capital funds and assets being rebranded as Dexus assets after first completion and others to remain under the AMP Capital brand until the integration of AMP Capital onto the Dexus platform is complete.

Dexus's strategy is to deliver superior risk-adjusted returns for investors from high-quality real estate in Australia's major cities. Delivering these returns means outperforming the relevant three and five-year benchmarks in each market in which Dexus owns or manages properties, while providing security holders with sustainable, growing distributions.

Whilst we continue to work through the integration, further information on the Core Property Fund, AMP Capital Core Infrastructure Fund, AMP Capital Diversified Infrastructure Fund and AMP Capital Shopping Centre Fund remains available on the AMP Capital website.
