Jandakot Jandakot Airport, Perth WA

Jandakot Airport is the second largest airport in Western Australia. The Airport is held in the Dexus Jandakot Airport Fund (DJAF) and includes the major general aviation airport in Western Australia alongside the fast-growing Ascend industrial estate. The development of the Ascend industrial estate is delivered through the Dexus Development arm on behalf of DJAF investors, which includes Dexus Industria REIT (DXI).

Recognising the airport's unique operating environment, Dexus supported Jandakot Airport Holdings (JAH) to develop its first Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan in FY26, aligned where appropriate with the Dexus Sustainability Strategy and tailored to JAH's role as airport operator and Jandakot Airport precinct Head Lessor.

Designed to move beyond compliance and strengthen long-term resilience, the strategy establishes a practical framework to embed sustainability across airport operations, environmental management, community engagement and employee wellbeing. It introduces clear governance structures, accountability mechanisms and measurable actions, including establishing operational emissions reporting, enhancing biodiversity outcomes, creating a community engagement plan and strengthening employee wellbeing programs.

The strategy provides a roadmap for JAH to operate a safe, resilient and responsible airport precinct while responding to evolving stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements. It also supports greater alignment and collaboration across the broader precinct, increasing opportunities to deliver positive environmental and community outcomes over time.

Across the broader Jandakot Airport precinct, Dexus is also incorporating sustainability into industrial development activity. During FY26, developments were designed with rooftop solar provisioning, battery-ready infrastructure and electric vehicle and electric truck charging capability. The precinct also aims to achieve the highest level of recycling outcomes for construction and demolition waste, with a recent demolition project delivering a 100% recycling or reuse rate of materials, reducing emissions from a waste-intensive phase of development.

Together, the JAH Sustainability Strategy and our development outcomes across the precinct show how we are embedding sustainability into both airport operations and industrial development, supporting long-term resilience, value creation and positive outcomes for customers, investors, communities and the environment.
