London Luton Airport
Overview
London Luton Airport (LLA) was the fifth largest and fastest growing airport in the UK, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. Located 29 miles north of London, the airport is non-price regulated and is operated under a concession agreement with Luton Borough Council until March 2031.
There is a strong alignment with the Council to secure a concession extension. A new rail link, Luton DART, officially opened on 27 March 2023, connecting the Luton Airport Parkway Station to the airport terminal in 4 minutes. Combined with the Luton Airport Express service, the seamless journey from London St Pancras International to London Luton Airport will take as little as 32 minutes.
