Dexus launches innovative partnership connecting customers to childcare with priority access to spaces for Dexus customers

Australia’s largest office landlord has pioneered an agreement with Australia’s premium childcare centre operator to provide priority access to childcare spaces for its customers (tenants).

Dexus (Dexus)’s unique partnership with Guardian Early Learning Group (Guardian) will offer Dexus customers priority on waitlists over a proportion of available childcare places. The offering is expected to provide greater convenience and flexibility for working families of Dexus customers.

Guardian currently has over 90 centres across the country, including a number within the Dexus portfolio, with plans to expand that offering as opportunities arise.

Darren Steinberg, Dexus CEO commented “Our partnership with Guardian will bring further benefits to our customers and their employees enabling them a better opportunity to secure childcare places which are becoming an increasingly scarce commodity. This is an important offering which enhances our customer experience. This initiative builds on other popular initiatives including Dexus Place, our high tech meeting and collaborative centres - and partnerships with GoGet and Divvy car parking.”

Tom Hardwick, Guardian Early Learning Group CEO commented “We are pleased to partner with one of the largest and most professional property groups in the country to help grow our business of providing at or near office childcare centres and solutions for working families.”

The partnership comes as demand grows for childcare placements in high quality early learning programs particularly in inner city areas. This partnership provides Dexus customers with easier access to childcare as families transition back to work and seek high quality learning environments for their children, close to their home or workplace.

This initiative is designed to assist Dexus customers to improve productivity, by reducing stress for families transitioning back to work from parental leave and providing more certainty in lieu of long childcare waitlists. It also provides considerable value to smaller tenants who are seeking a lot more than just an office environment from their landlord to further enhance their employee value proposition.

“We are delighted to be able to support our customers with this meaningful staff engagement initiative.” Mr Steinberg added.
