Through active management Dexus secured two new customers at 30 The Bond, following notice of Lendlease's intention to vacate.

  • In late 2015 Lendlease advised Dexus of their intention to vacate 30 The Bond, 30-34 Hickson Road, Sydney before their lease expiry in March 2019
  • Dexus negotiated an early surrender of the space in August 2016 which was mutually beneficial for both parties 
  • Dexus undertook a refurbishment and leased all the vacated space (16,182 square metres), taking occupancy back to 100% at 30 June 2017 and achieving effective rental growth of circa 16.1% on average with minimal downtime 
  • This result contributed to a one year total return of 28.1% 
  • Dexus attracted two new customers who relocated from outside the CBD to create a superior workspace and amenity for their workforce: 
    • Roche relocated from the Northern Beaches 
    • STW Group relocated from North Sydney
