  • Who manages Dexus's security registry?

  • Do I need to give you my tax file number?

    You are not required by law to provide us with your Tax File Number, Australian Business Number (ABN) or Exemption. However, if you do not provide your TFN, ABN or Exemption, withholding tax at the highest marginal rate, may be deducted from your distributions. If you have not supplied this information and wish to do so, please contact our Info line on 1800 819 675 or your sponsoring broker or use the Investor Login link to download the TFN/ABN form to complete.
  • What do I do if I have unclaimed distributions

    If you believe you have unpresented cheques or unclaimed distributions, please contact our Infoline on 1800 819 675. For monies that have been outstanding for more than seven years, you should contact the NSW Office of State Revenue on 1300 366 016, email them at unclaimedmoney@osr.nsw.gov.au or visit www.osr.nsw.gov.au and use their unclaimed monies search facility.
  • What is Dexus’s distribution policy?

    Dexus’s distribution policy is to pay out distributions in line with free cash flow. Distributions are paid for the six months to December and June each year. Security holders can receive their distributions by direct credit into a nominated bank account.
  • Where do I find information regarding my Dexus security holding

    Through Investor login you can access key information and general reports on your security holding. To login provides access to your personal account with Dexus’s registry provider, Link Market Services. Once logged in, you can update your address and account details, elect the way we communicate with you, view your Security holding and download your personal distribution or tax statements. Dexus provides a significant amount of current and historical information in the Dexus Investor Information section, including distribution and taxation information, apportionment percentages for Dexus since stapling, periodic statements, security price and key dates.
  • When does Dexus release their annual reports?

    Our annual reporting suite is available online at www.dexus.com by 31 August each year. It provides access to the Annual Report, Combined Financial Statements, Results Presentation, Notice of Meeting (after it has been released), our GRI Index reporting and associated performance data pack. 
  • What is a stapled security?

    Dexus's stapled security comprises a unit in each of the Dexus Diversified Trust, Dexus Office Trust, Dexus Industrial Trust and Dexus Operations Trust, linked together so that one cannot be transferred or otherwise dealt without the other. In the case of listed securities, they are jointly quoted on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) as Dexus (DXS) "stapled securities".
  • What is Dexus’s ticker symbol?

    Dexus’s ordinary stapled securities are listed on the ASX under the ticker symbol DXS.  
  • Can I reinvest my distribution?

    There is no Distribution Reinvestment Plan facility in operation at present.  If and when Dexus reinstates the DRP, security holders will be notified.
  • How do I change my address/bank account details?

    You can update your details using the Investor Login or alternatively you can email dexus@linkmarketservices.com.au or contact our Infoline on +61 1800 819 675 and request forms to be sent to you.

  • How do I make a complaint?

    Any security holder wishing to lodge a complaint should do so in writing and forward it to Dexus Funds Management Limited.   • How often and what distributions has Dexus paid?

    Distributions are paid every six months - in August for the six months ended 30 June and in February for the six months ended 31 December.
  • How do I complete my annual taxation return for the distributions I receive from Dexus?

    At the end of each financial year, we will provide an Annual Taxation Statement to security holders who have received a distribution during the financial year. This statement summarises the distributions paid to you during the year and includes information required to complete your tax return. These statements are provided by the end of August each year. If you did not receive your tax statement, please login via Investor Login to download your statements and/or change your communication election preference.
  • How do I buy or sell Dexus securities?

    Dexus securities are listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and securities can be bought or sold through a stockbroker, bank or financial institution that offers brokerage services. Dexus does not offer brokerage services.
  • How do I get the distribution information required by non-resident holders or their custodians?

    The notice required by non-resident security holders and custodians of non-resident investors for the purposes of section 12-395 of Schedule 1 to the Tax Administration Act 1953 is available in Distributions and tax.  This notice is provided approximately 5 days prior to each payment.
  • How is the ex-distribution date and record date for a distribution determined?

    The ex-distribution date is set by the Australian Securities Exchange and is directly related to the record date that Dexus sets for a distribution. Refer to the Key Dates page for details of distribution record dates.
